Fynl.io Portal — Privacy Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
The Fynl.io Portal (the "portal") is software that businesses use to manage their customers, bookings, invoices, websites, email and social media messages. This policy explains what information the portal handles and what we do with it.
Who is responsible
Fynl.io operates the portal. Each business that uses the portal (a "sub-account") decides which of its own customers' information it puts in the portal and remains responsible for that information. You can reach us at fynl.app@gmail.com.
Information the portal handles
- Account information — the name, email address and password of people who log in to the portal.
- Business records — contacts, leads, bookings, quotes, contracts, invoices, forms and files that a business enters or imports.
- Instagram and Facebook data, only when a business connects its own Facebook Page and Instagram professional account: the Page and account names and IDs, the access token Meta provides, posts the business publishes through the portal, and the direct messages sent to and from that business's account, including the sender's name, username and profile picture as provided by Meta.
- Email, only when a business connects its own Gmail mailbox: the portal reads, searches, sends and drafts messages in that mailbox when a person using the portal asks it to. Mailbox contents are read live from Gmail and are not copied into the portal's database.
How we use it
Only to provide the portal's features to the business that connected it: showing its inbox, letting its staff reply to messages, sending the automatic replies the business has switched on, publishing its posts and keeping its records. We do not sell information, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with other businesses using the portal. Each business's data is kept separate from every other business's data.
Data from Meta (Instagram and Facebook)
Data received from Meta is used only to show and answer the connected business's own messages and to publish its own content, in line with Meta's Platform Terms. It is not used to build profiles of people, not combined with data from other sources for advertising, and not transferred to anyone else. Replies are only sent when a person at the business sends them or when the business has switched on an automatic reply, and only within the time Meta allows.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Information is stored on servers we control in the United States. Access tokens and passwords for connected services are stored encrypted. Only people the business has given a login to, and our own staff when needed to support the business or keep the service running, can access it.
How long we keep it
We keep a business's information while its account is active. When a business disconnects Instagram, Facebook or Gmail, we stop receiving data from that service. When a business closes its account, its records, messages and tokens are deleted.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can disconnect Facebook, Instagram or Gmail at any time from the portal, or remove the portal's access in your Facebook, Instagram or Google account settings. To have your information deleted, follow the steps on our data deletion page or email fynl.app@gmail.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
